The beach right in front of the apartment: facing SW; ideal to play in the sand, look for shells, or a walk into the little town of Cabopino (about 2 kms); right behind the harbour is Playa de cabopino  where you can either have a snack in one of the nice restaurants,or windsurf and relax in the sun.
distance by car - about 10 min.

La Cala: one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. 3kms down the N340 in the direction of Malaga; take the unlabeled exit right after an advertisement of a restplace.

Las Chapas: long sandy beach; 9 kms towards  Marbella, 2km off N340.

Tarifa: not only a nice little town, but also with a beautiful, long  sandy beach with dunes NW of Tarifa. The usually windy beach is a paradise for wind and kitesurfers ( whoever prefers a little less wind should go to Tarifa`s little "playa chica").

Bolonia: 20 kms from Tarifa in the direction of Cadiz; one of the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia; there is also a Roman ruin right at the beach (Baelo Claudia).
